Today, Oct.20.2020, the HDMI Forum is pleased to announce that HDMI Forum ATCs that have received relevant approval from the HDMI Forum, will be able to test Adopter products, and then to request and distribute HDMI Forum Certificates of Confirmation for all device categories (Sink, Source, Repeater, Cable) in the HDMI 2.x Specification starting October 21, 2020. Previously the HDMI Forum ATCs were limited to Cable testing only.
As part of the new HDMI Forum ATC Program a new HDMI Forum Certificate of Confirmation (Certificate) will be issued for HDMI® 2.x devices successfully completing HDMI 2.x compliance testing. HDMI Forum ATCs will upload test results to HDMI LA where the HDMI Forum Compliance Program Manager (CPM) will review and approve certification, and a Certificate will then be issued to the HDMI Forum ATC. At that time the HDMI Forum ATC can distribute the Certificate to the Adopter.
IMPORTANT: Please note that only HDMI Forum ATCs can test Adopter products, and then to request and distribute HDMI Forum Certificates of Confirmation for HDMI® 2.x Specification.

Effective January 1, 2021, the HDMI Forum Certificate of Confirmation issued through HDMI Forum ATCs will be the only valid certificate for the purpose of meeting the ATC testing requirements defined in the HDMI CTS 2.x

The HDMI Forum will honor all HDMI 2.x ATC certificates issued by existing HDMI ATCs prior to January 1, 2021 for the purpose of meeting the ATC testing requirements defined in the HDMI CTS 2.x

HDMI Forum ATCs are required to collect from Adopters a Testing Surcharge for each device that successfully passes all required certification testing at an HDMI Forum ATC. The HDMI Forum ATC’s invoice will include the Testing Surcharge as a separate line item to distinguish it from testing fees, taxes, and other charges. Adopters are required to pay the Testing Surcharge directly to the HDMI Forum ATC. All Testing Surcharges are remitted by the HDMI Forum ATC to the HDMI Forum to defray the cost of administering the HDMI Forum ATC program. Testing Surcharge per device type:

NOTE: Between October 21, 2020 and January 1, 2021, the HDMI Forum is waiving this Testing Surcharge at HDMI Forum ATCs for Source, Sink, and Repeater. The Testing Surcharge will continue to be collected for device type Cable.
HDMI Forum Certificate of Confirmation will affirm that HDMI 2.x products have been tested to the latest specification at test centers that have been validated and audited by the HDMI Forum, the producers of the HDMI 2.x specifications, to ensure products are tested to the latest versions of the HDMI CTS 2.x and all available tests
According to the information we got, HDMI 2.1 AOC CTS belong to the catagory of HDMI Active Cable, but CTS still under evaluation, we believe it can be tested soon.
