HDMI 2.0 Type A–A 90m (300ft) Active Optical Cable with Locking Screws for Professional AV & Industrial Installations
Description
This 90 m fiber optical HDMI cable is built for installations that need both extreme reach and a mechanically secure connection. It transports 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 video for 4K@60Hz across 300 ft, allowing a source and display to be linked without placing extenders, equalizers or network converters between them. Screw-lock Type A connectors reduce the risk of service interruption when equipment vibrates, racks are accessed or cable tension reaches the port. The optical signal path limits attenuation and rejects EMI/RFI, making the assembly suitable for auditoriums, factories, transport hubs, command centers and large digital-signage networks. Compared with the 30 m locking model, this version is designed for building-scale routes where consolidating the signal path into one directional cable can simplify commissioning and reduce intermediate failure points.
- 90 m (300 ft) optical reach for building-scale HDMI distribution without inline extenders
- 18Gbps bandwidth supporting stable 4K@60Hz HDMI 2.0 video
- Screw-lock Type A connectors secure source and display ports against vibration or accidental pullout
- Optical transport provides low attenuation and excellent EMI/RFI immunity
- Ideal for auditoriums, transport facilities, industrial control rooms and large signage systems

Locking screws are small screws built into the HDMI Type-A connectors that let you secure the cable to devices or plates so it doesn’t accidentally disconnect. This is particularly useful in professional AV installations, wall plates, kiosks, or industrial rigs where bumping or vibration could loosen a connection.
No. HDMI 2.0 AOC cables with locking screws are generally plug-and-play and do not require an external power supply. They draw necessary power directly over the HDMI connection from the source device.
1.Directionality: Many AOC cables are directional — the end marked Source must go to your HDMI output device, and Display to the screen.2.Bend radius: Avoid excessively sharp bends in the cable; optical fiber can be damaged if bent too tightly.3.Locking screw torque: Don’t overtighten the screws — snug is sufficient.
