Live from VISION 2026 Smartavlink Brings Fiber Connectivity to Machine Vision and Robotics

From October 6 to 8, VISION 2026 is bringing the global machine vision community together at Messe Stuttgart in Germany. Smartavlink is exhibiting its fiber-optic connectivity solutions for machine vision, industrial automation, and robotic systems at Booth 8C08 in Hall 8.

Throughout the exhibition, the Smartavlink booth has welcomed professionals from the machine vision, industrial camera, automation equipment, robotics, and system integration sectors.

Through product samples, technical materials, and a live robotic-arm demonstration, our on-site team is showing visitors how fiber-optic cables can be integrated into real industrial equipment and support reliable high-speed signal transmission.

High-Speed Fiber Connectivity for Machine Vision

As industrial inspection systems move toward higher image resolutions, faster production cycles, and more advanced data processing, machine vision systems must transmit increasingly large volumes of data between industrial cameras, acquisition devices, and control systems.

Bandwidth, signal stability, transmission distance, and immunity to interference have therefore become critical considerations when designing a reliable vision system.

At VISION 2026, Smartavlink is highlighting the benefits of fiber-optic connectivity in machine vision applications. Fiber transmission provides high bandwidth, long-distance capability, and inherent immunity to electromagnetic interference.

These characteristics can help reduce the influence of electrical noise generated by motors, variable-frequency drives, and other industrial equipment, providing a stable connection for high-speed image acquisition, in-line quality inspection, automated production, and remotely installed equipment.

To meet different system requirements, Smartavlink can provide customized cable structures, connector configurations, and cable lengths according to the interface, transmission distance, installation space, and operating environment of the customer’s equipment.

Live Robotic-Arm Application Demonstration

Cables used in robotic systems must do more than transmit high-speed signals. They must also accommodate the repeated bending, movement, and torsion generated during robotic operation.

Cable flexibility, bend performance, mechanical durability, connector stability, and strain relief can directly affect equipment reliability and maintenance requirements.

At the Smartavlink booth, a transparent robotic-arm demonstration allows visitors to observe how fiber-optic cables can be routed and operated within a moving robotic system.

For robotic and dynamic applications, Smartavlink focuses on practical engineering factors such as bend radius, repeated-flex performance, torsion resistance, installation space, connector retention, and cable strain protection.

Our objective is to provide stable and flexible connectivity solutions for robotic vision, motion systems, and industrial automation equipment.

Understanding Real Customer Requirements

VISION 2026 provides an important opportunity for the Smartavlink team to discuss real application requirements directly with equipment manufacturers, machine vision companies, and system integrators.

In addition to bandwidth and transmission distance, visitors have shown strong interest in cable flexibility, service life in continuous-motion applications, mechanical protection, connector dimensions, installation efficiency, and customization options.

Customers have also discussed specific requirements involving industrial camera connectivity, internal robotic-arm routing, drag-chain applications, compact equipment design, and OEM/ODM development.

This direct feedback helps Smartavlink better understand the connection challenges found in different industrial environments and supports the continued improvement of our products and application-specific solutions.

Connecting Products with Real Applications

At VISION 2026, Smartavlink is presenting more than a range of fiber-optic connectivity products. Through live demonstrations, we are showing how these products can be integrated into machine vision and robotic equipment.

From high-speed image-signal transmission to reliable connectivity in electrically noisy industrial environments, and from fixed equipment installation to dynamic robotic movement, Smartavlink continues to expand the role of fiber-optic technology in smart manufacturing.

By working closely with customers and industry partners, we aim to integrate connectors, cables, and optical transmission technologies more effectively into equipment designs and provide a reliable connectivity foundation for machine vision and industrial automation systems.

VISION 2026 Continues

VISION 2026 is still underway. The Smartavlink team will continue presenting fiber-optic connectivity solutions for machine vision and robotic applications while providing product selection support, technical consultation, and OEM/ODM customization services.

We welcome machine vision companies, industrial camera manufacturers, robotics and automation equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and industry partners to visit Smartavlink and speak with our team.
